The Plateau's meeting place

In 1976, a group of students saved this building from demolition and opened a café. Fifty years on, the sandwiches are still towering, the garden is full of mismatched chairs, and its mission has even extended to the creation of Santropol Roulant, a community meal-delivery organization.
